  • Non NSC members are welcome to enrol in our programs, however members of NSC receive a discount.

After Sail Care

Fee: $ 50.00 per week.

The sailing school hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm. After Sail care is provided to extend pickup hours from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Early morning drop off begins at 8:30am and is provided at no charge. No supervision is provided before 8:30am.

Over these two fun filled weeks, you will learn basic sailing skills, knowledge, and boating fun in a friendly place! Swimming, games, and new friends all add to this great experience! Sailors leave this course with basic sailing skills, knowledge, and are updated on their progress into the levels.

Adventure Sail

Explore the adventures of sailing through a variety of boats, games, locations, and experiences! Some activities could include island adventures, build your own boat, race, go camping, or explore wildlife, all while learning and improving your basic sailing skills!

Continue your journey into the world of sailing! Gain confidence & knowledge in sailing while improving your sailing skills. Sailors get more sailing experience while adding to the skills and fun from their CANSail 1 course. Sailors end the course with improved sailing skills knowledge, and terminology, as well as an update on their sailing progress.

Prerequisites: CANSail 2

Improve and build upon your sailing skills throughout this program. Get introduced to new sailing skills and techniques while advancing your knowledge. Sailors also get to try their hand at racing and race management on Wednesday evenings with NSC club members and staff! Sailors in this two week program should not expect to achieve the full CANSail 3 level.

Prerequisites: CANSail 2

Enhance your acquired sailing skills, while also learning new skills, techniques, and sailing knowledge. In this four week program, sailors get the opportunity to become introduced to spinnaker and trapeze skills, while trying some racing and race management every Wednesday evening with NSC club members and staff!!

    Prerequisites: CANSail 3

    Learn and improve on new sailing skills such as spinnaker and trapeze, racing, race management, sailing fitness and more while learning to consistently demonstrate your sailing skills and abilities. Each week, sailors get the opportunity to run and participate in NSC's interclub racing to test and practice their skills!
